Dear friend of KISSed Quilts,

As we begin the month that I turn 60 --I can't really believe it--I'm offering a very special sale. It was in 2001 when I made my first quilted item as an adult (the flag above) -- 25 years ago! If you come into the shop, you will find it straight ahead as you walk in the door ...all the way to the back wall. We've come a long ways.

I've made arrangements so that even if I can't physically be in the shop, there will be someone there during these hours to help you shop and find just the right inspiration, fabrics, tools and notions. We look forward to seeing you!

We've just wrapped up the All Pacific Northwest Shop Hop. Welcome to all those who came by -- for the first time or again and noticed our progress. We had fewer hoppers than last year, but I am grateful for each and every one of you. If you ended up not having the time or resources to pursue the shop hop, I've got a couple of magazines left --they have our pattern in it as well as others and all the good shop information. I've got a few kits left for the Pacific Northwest Nights quilt and fabrics from both the In the Beginning (dark/jewel tones) and Riley Blake Dear Washington (lighter values) collections. Shop Hop Stickers and one binder is still available. Did you figure out what to do with your block cards? If you're still interested in the Flower Fields design (middle pic below), I've got patterns you can digitally download or purchase in print form. Also available is the wideback of the dapple dot - in 3 yard cuts -- specially priced at $59.99 that would work for any of your quilts.

These four patterns I've paired with the Countryside Charm collection. Some you make recognize but these are uniquely altered to fit this collection; Hearts-a-Bloom is all new! All patterns and kits are available now. You can purchase them online or email me with your interest. These fabrics are the exception to the BATIK SALE highlighted above.

CLASSES / SEW-INS

What classes are you interested in taking? Let me know if you'd like a beginner class? Just the 1st chapter of my book? How about a year long class...either 1 day a month or 3 - 1.5 hr sessions per month going through the entire book. We used to do this every other year and I hope to get back to that soon.

The classroom isn't quite ready but hopefully by mid summer we can start doing classes.

Just want a place to sew on a regular basis? I am entertaining the idea of different days... piecing, machine embroidery, hand work, etc. Let me know your thoughts. Particular days that are better for you?

New and Seasonal Themed Products

Always in Our Hearts - remembering the children lost at residential homes. Printed on cotton (double panel) and on canvas that can easily be made into a drawstring bag. The panel could be used in a quilt, back of a shirt or incorporated into a ribbon skirt. I've pulled several Northcott Toscana fabrics that coordinate with it nicely and these are displayed at the front of the store.

Special tools: Leather Needles, Beading Needles, Avery Inkjet Fullsheet Iron-on Printable Labels (NOT YET on WEBSITE)--If you're wanting to stock up on this, please let me know how many you'd like. These are very difficult to find and I'm excited about this newly found source. They come in 5-sheet packs.
