2026 - 04 - Come see us at 219!

Dear friend of KISSed Quilts,

We're here at the new space -- 219 Main Street--just half a block from our old space.

More to move from the original shack...but for shop hop we're here to stay! The space will continue to evolve during the hop, so you just never know what it might look like when you come! At some point when the inside is done we'll work on the outside...but that may still be awhile. But here is what it started out as. Thank you all for your patience as we've worked to have all functions in one spot for this business.

If you took a class from me or joined us for sew-ins at the old middle school in the last 10+ years---those days are done. Thank you for risking your warmth or coolness by joining us in this uncontrolled air space. So grateful to the Grand Coulee Dam School District's Superintendent, Dennis Carlson, who orginally was willing to rent us the space for me to run my year long class, 3 days a month and have sew-ins for interested quilters. Then Mr. Turner was willing to let us use the space as a community free of charge and I could rent on a day basis when a class was taught. We've had some good times there. Stay tuned for when the new space at 219 is be ready for intimate gatherings of a few sewers. There is potential for this building to provide a retreat or large educational space some day. The success of the business may encourage us to continue the renovation or not. Thank you for all of your support.

With the Riley Blake Collection (middle/lighter colors pic) featured for the shop hop, I'm working on a two row (vs. 3 row shown) that includes the pieced blocks from our region (8 shops) to show how you don't have to do all 126 and still make something nice. The version shown would be 90 blocks. The version I'm making would allow up to 52 blocks. FYI: Oregon has 51 shops; Washington has 53 and Idaho has 22.

Block Pattern Giveaway from  KISSed Quilts - Fabrics for the block also available for a small fee, as a kit. I'm also including some other ideas/versions that you could do with this Dear Washington collection. 5" cut for the smaller mosaic style border and 9" finished larger block single border.

If you've seen my social media [https://www.facebook.com/kissedquilts or https://www.instagram.com/marlene.kissedquilts recently, you've noticed my posts about Prolon -- a scientifically designed nutritional 5-day program that mimicks doing a water fast...but you get to eat! Just 5 days in a month...then wait 25 days before doing it again. Order your box with this affiliate link www.prolonlife.com/oddie for a discount that will show up in your cart. This program has done wonders for my health condition given previous diagnosis of 4 different autoimmune conditions. One is completely in remission and the others are much diminished or well under control. I feel great! So grateful this came into my life and I can now feel so good going into this new chapter with my business.

We've noticed that quite a few customers who used to receive the monthly newsletter now aren't ...so I'm adding a lot of different 'lists' that I have to this email since we're just so excited to be in the new space like we are. If you haven't been getting it and today you are--and you'd like to get it monthly, please let me know so that I can be sure to get you onto the regular monthly list. Thanks for your interest and I look forward to connecting with you soon.
