We had a couple of great Migrating Lonestar classes on the Colville Reservation earlier this month. Here are some photos of the class progress, what they will ultimately look like (electronic mock up), and one that is actually finished --great job Judy M.
 
 
I was able to present a quilt this past weekend to someone I worked with for about 8 months back in 2003. A critical time when they were trying to launch a new direction in their life. It made a big impact on me too and with his recent diagnosis of Alzheimers I decided now was the time to make this quilt. It is an adaptation of "Flying Home" by Pam Bono. I called this one Flying Again by God's Grace. Fabrics chosen included motifs that would mean something to him based on his many life experiences. The V of geese is reminiscent of the website we created for his speaking engagements. There are more details shared on the KISSed Quilts Facebook page.
 
Very soon my first Signature Collection of fabrics with Lumin Fabrics, Island Batik Division will be out in their catalog for shops to see and order. I'm so excited to be able to reveal them.....so stay tuned!
Meanwhile, my second Signature Collection is in the works. I'm currently working on the patterns that will showcase it. Two of the projects are proposed to incorporate EZPiecing. I'm excited to be working with them too! I've pieced the top for one of the five projects, and a second is cut and started. All need to be done by mid-January!
Upcoming Sew-ins and Special Events
Sew-ins -- We've been told by the School District that we need to vacate the classroom space by January 31 so our time is limited unless something changes. It wasn't clear as to why. I'm really hoping we can be done with the new space in time.
Classes
What would you like to learn in the new year? Now is the time to let me know so that I can plan accordingly for our new space.

 If you weren't aware ...Idaho has been added to the All Pacific NW Shop Hop that happens April - May, 2026.
I've got a design accepted with the new event. I'll have kits for both collections of fabrics that will be part of the Shop Hop. I've also designed for several other shop hops around the US...so I've got several quilts to make to be ready for those marketing campaigns in the new year.
