Dear friend of KISSed Quilts,
I've been getting later and later in the month getting this newsletter out. We've been working in the new space more and I've just been focused on too many projects including quitling customer quilts, class preps, making quilts for pattern covers to be released in 2025 and family obligations. I finished up the last customer quilt for 2024 this evening, so have a few minutes now to reflect and start looking ahead at what is next. I've got new things to share and as I wrap up the year, wanted to not miss the opportunity to thank you again for your support.
We've got big things happening in 2025 which I've looked forward to for a while now. Your purchases continue to help support these dreams, so thank you in advance of the orders I'll be shipping to you or the appointments you'll make to come in for a shopping experience.
Stopped by Zella A.'s sewing space and saw what she was doing with this Christmas Traditions panel. (there is another one that coordinates with various sizes too). Only $7 per panel. Choose Black for shadows and any other Christmas themed fabric for background to make this work. Great use of this panel! Thanks for sharing!
 
New Designs have been released with Island Batik. I'm going to share these with you over the next few months. The first one is Poinsettia Window. This will be kitted at another shop (not mine) so if you're interested in the kit, I'll put you in touch with the shop when the kits are available late Spring 2025. It may look familiar (Winter Bright) but I've changed the colorations a bit to best utilize this colorway. Patterns are available now.

January 14-17 ..I'm going to be focused on prepping (sanding and painting!) fixtures for the new shop so won't be at 301 Main ...so please call ahead if you're needing something and I'll pop into the shop to meet you at a designated time.
Fridays and Sundays (and January 20) I'm in town working at the new shop space --just up the street...so if you're coming in to shop, please give me a call.

Sew-ins
January 13 -- considered doing a One-Block-Wonder? ...I'll help you cut it out. Get 6 or 7 panels or repeats of an appropriate fabric. Cut 6 exact triangles and have fun making them into two half-hexies. Then lay all out (use 7th panel to place them around--as an option). I've got several panels and some fabrics for you to consider using. This is not a formal class, just a suggestion as at least a couple of us plan on cutting one out during this session. Please RSVP.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Sew Expo 2025 - Puyallup, WA will take place February 27 - March 2. The class schedule has been posted. I'm teaching 5 unique classes ...and one is taught twice. Check out the PDF Schedule in the link above and I hope to see some of you in class! This includes two new classes that use the EZPiecing foundation method -- a method where the substrate is pre-printed and is left in the project. The project remains soft and supple and you don't have any papers to remove! It really is great! I've also got Beginning and Advanced AnglePlay and two sessions of Beginning Quilt Making. This was sold out last year so we're offering two sessions this year to give more opportunities. I had a mother and daughter take it together which I thought was a great way to introduce this skill to your child.
