With this cold snap, I'm wanting to just sew! How about you? I'm getting this newsletter out a little bit early because of some special scheduling of the shop over the next several weeks. Please read below for all the details.
 If you have the 2023 AQS QuiltArt Calendar you might have noticed this past month the quilt by Sharon Engel that was inspired from my original Spinner quilt. Several inquired about a pattern. If you have Electric Quilt you'll be able to draw it yourself through the tutorial, but if you don't, a pattern could be helpful. I'm working on writing it up so if you're interested it would be good to know how many would like an actual written pattern for the layout. The 12 blocks were issued by Electric Quilt, but the layout was my design.
 My newest pattern now available - an updated version of Hugs and Kisses. This version uses Cool Breeze fabric collection from Free Spirit. If you're interested in this kit --available at Creative Sewing & Quilting in Illinois.
 Here is a new free pattern from Moda! If you participated in the recent challenge (dbaerg68 shared below), you can now make the block bigger into a nice sized quilt (image on right from @michellewhitemakes). Find both patterns on modafabrics.com website under Resources / Free Patterns. I'd love to help kit up a special version just for you. Got some charm packs you want to use? Two charms and a background or half a Layer Cake and a background will work!
Heads up: Mark your calendar's for the Sew Expo in Puyallup, WA March 2-5, 2023. Find class #1041 (1needle) or search 'AnglePlay' to sign up. I'll be doing a lecture on the Fundamentals of AnglePlay and Trunkshow on Friday and Sunday afternoons. Hope you can make it a part of your plans to be there.

You'll learn how to use the templates and get 3 sizes out of each one.
